The General Committee is the most important committee of SWU Thymos. It is represented by the representatives of all the students' sports clubs and the Daily Board. At this moment, SWU Thymos counts 18 students' sports clubs.

The General Committee is called upon at least six times a year to cast a vote at proposals made by the Daily Board according to policy and finances. The Daily Board is advised by the Council of Advise (consisting of old Daily Board-members) and the management-team of the USB.

Furthermore, there are lots of sports clubs in Wageningen which are no students' sports clubs. Some of these sports clubs have been acknowledged by Thymos. This means there is no students'sports club in this sport, but you can get a discount on the contribution if you have a valid sportscard. To check whether the sportsclub you are joining is one acknowledged by Thymos, take a look at 'Sportsclubs'-> 'Acknowledged Sport Clubs'. These sports clubs are also invited for meetings of the General Committee, but they have no right to vote.
