Sports Clubs  

Wageningen has a lot of sports clubs. There is a student sports club for 18 sports. All these clubs are united under SWU Thymos. As a member of these clubs, you will have the opportunity to compete in official matches and to participate in tournaments. These clubs almost completely consist of students. In addition to these competitions, they organise sports activities, weekends and other cool activities. The biggest difference lies in the member distribution and the level of membership fees for student sports clubs.
There are 17 sports that do not have a student sports club to represent them. These sports have clubs that are recognised by SWU Thymos. This means, among other things, that when a student with a sports card want sot become a member of these clubs, he can receive a subsidy on his membership fees. These subsidies can be applied for at SWU Thymos.
