Subsidies  

With a student WURcard with sportsrights it is possible to request for different subsidies. With these subsidies you can e.g. get a discount on the membership of a Thymos-acknowledged sportsclub or a refund when competing in a (inter)national sports event.
Beneath the various subsidies of SWU Thymos will be clarified.

• Subsidy on participation in (inter)national events
  To stimulate the participation in sport events it is possible get a refund of half the costs for subscribing, with a maximum of € 32,-. To do so you will have to fill in a form (which can be downloaded here) and hand it in at the office of SWU Thymos. Further conditions will be explained at the form.
  
• Subsidy on membership on a Thymos-acknowledged sports club
  Some sports are not represented by a student sportsclub. Therefore it is possible to get a discount on your membership at a Thymos acknowledged sports club by SWU Thymos. The subsidy on the subscription fee of sportclubs is 1/4th of the subscription fee, with a maximum of € 30,- . • Subsidy on a training-course with educational value for a sports club
  The forms for this subsidy can be downloaded at the dutch part of this site.
  
• Subsidy on horseback riding on the riding-school 'Eijkelboom'
  At ‘Stal Eikelboom’ students can get a discount of € 1,- a lesson when showing a student WURcard with sportsrights. It is not possible to apply for this discount more then once a week.

• Subsidy on first consult on visiting an acknowledged physiotherapist
  Students only have to pay € 2,50 when showing their WURcard with sportsrights. This only holds for the first consult.
