Thymos  

The principle of Sports foundation Wageningen University (SWU) Thymos is to get all students at Wageningen University to sport. In co-operation with University Sports centre the Bongerd (USB), we try to create a perfect climate for sporting in Wageningen. Last year, we were rated a 9.9 in an investigation under the students at Wageningen University!! Of course we will try to get a perfect 10 this year. The name Thymos is originated out of the Greek antiquity. We got it out one of the books from Plato. In this book he is philosophising about the importance of sports in the society. This is what he called Thymos: "Enrichment of the energy of the soul by the means of physical exercise".
